About Half Acre Vintage

Hi, there. I'm Jessie. 

I grew up going to farm auctions and listening to my grandmas tell the stories of all the vintage and antique items they inherited: the stories of our family. I'm lucky enough to have some of those prized possessions in my own collections now. In the spirit of those influences, Half Acre is a play on my paternal grandmother's maiden name--Huffaker--and the namesake for our Midwestern family farm. 

While hunting for treasures for my own stash, I often saw lovely little things that didn't fit my own collections, and Half Acre Vintage was born. Giving well-loved items a new purpose and life just makes my socks go up and down.

Located in central Illinois, I'm in an ideal spot for sourcing the best vintage farmhouse finds and the occasional midcentury modern beauties. That's the thing: I love it all, so you'll see a little of this and a little of that. My only rule when sourcing items is to gather what makes my heart happy.
